Starbucks as always has good coffee. Though this time the latte was too milky. Service was nice and the staff was kind. I wanted to sit down to drink the coffee but they told me that there are no free tables. Meaning the place is very small. So it's better for take away

„America First“ policies by the Orange Man put globalization to the test. „Resist and Unsubscribe“ initiatives invite us to fight, predominantly, US-based tech giants such as Alphabet, Meta or Apple. Being an European, I feel challenged „to do my part“ and somehow resist the urge to „buy American“. While Starbucks is Brick-and-Mortar (non-tech), it‘s still an expression of Americanism. Nowadays, one may rightfully ask: „Maybe even of Imperialism?“ As you see on my photo, I did not manage to resist the urge and weakly gave in to have a White Chocolate Mocca, in tall, for a reasonable 7.19€. Why did „I“ give in? Because „I“ took a knife and, slowly but precisely, cut through the illusion of the self. I left my European self at the automated border control, just north of Terminal 1 Halle B. Excited to find out which American goods and services await me when I step out of the plane in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

It was good inside the airport. The coffee wadnt as good as usual. It was 30 minutes before cliding and the ice wasn't so crunchy. But all the other very good.
